In 2006, Dr. Tekin completed her initial degree in the Department of Economics at Celal Bayar University. She pursued her master's degree in International Trade and Monetary Management at Marmara University and obtained her doctoral degree in the Department of Economics at Istanbul University with her thesis titled "Institutional and Structural Change of Capitalism Under the Effect of the 2008 Crisis: Economic Policies with Expanded Intervention Limits and Money Creation Dynamics". She spent much of her professional life in International Relations. Since 2011, she has been working as the Director of International Relations at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University and has held the position of Institutional Erasmus Coordinator since 2012.
